About Me: Still combines poetic lyrics of pain, passion, failure, redemption and hope, expressed melodically through the powerful vocal delivery of Carlos Choi (vocals, guitars) with rocking dreamy guitars of Wilson Yu (guitars) backed up by sweet and creamy bass of Hugh Belangel (bass) in tact with drum rhythm fills by David Dionson (drums), a mix of alternative and light rock with inspiring words and faith strengthening melody best describes this quartet. Formed in late 2001 with David joining the band early 2003, the sound Still has matured and found it's place in Cebu's budding music scene since the debut album LIFE and up coming album THE SPILLING OF MY HEART which will be released early 2008 under Lighter Records who have brought you Indie Rock acts such as Urbandub, Faspitch and The Ambassadors who are carrying the flag of spreading the sound of the south not only in the Philippines but also throughout the Asian Indie community. Part of the band's success was to tour in Hongkong and performing side by side with Jars Of Clay, apart from this their album, THE SPILLING OF MY HEART, is what they believe is their best effort yet and will include songs that comes straight from the heart expressing life's ups and downs, its an "honest" documentary of the heart with a message of hope showing the main content of the band.
