DiCE&k9/MOBBSTARR was chosen by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) as one of the awardees and the only Hip-Hop group to be recognized for the Philippine International Arts Festival (PIAF) with this year’s theme “Ani ng Sining”.

DiCE&k9/MOBBSTARR was selected for winning the "Asia's Best Hip-Hop Group" at the Asia Voice Independence Music Awards (AVIMA) held in Malaysia last December 2009.

NCAA will put on display the group’s trophy alongside with the other awardees (group and individual who have recently won in an international competition) at the “Ani ng Dangal Exhibit” mounted at the exhibit area of the NCCA building which will open on February 8, 2010 while the “Ani ng Sining Awards and Recognition Night” will be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza on February 28, 2010.

PIAF is a month-long and nationwide activity that aims to promote Philippine culture and the arts, highlighting the empowerment of the Filipino creativity and imagination. This 2010 celebration will be a call to hope, a challenge to act, an invitation to commit, a celebration of creativity and an affirmation of the Filipino’s inner strength that can be a catalyst for social transformation.
