About Me: Leon Chaplain Leon Chaplain is known for his unorthodox remixes of Hale's 'The Day You Said Goodnight' (which is featured in the best selling Club Myx compilation) and Urban Dub's 'First of Summer'. Currently he is doing remixes for Nancy Jane, the first female OPM house music artist. His signature heavy synths and progressive-style beats separates him from other local remixers and DJs. He hopes to contribute more remixes and original tracks to the local dance scene. Can you give us a description of the influences that you have upon your creation of the tracks that you submitted? My influences include acts like Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, Deadmau 5, Peter Rauhofer, Victor Calderone and the like. It's a combination or progressive and electro styles. Would you consider this an album or a collection? And can you describe or tell us how you selected the songs for this particular compilation? How did this colelction come about? It's a collection of my compositions/productions presented in such that you can choose a track that suits your mood. I wouldn't call it an album because of the short format. Can you give us a description or bakcground on these tracks or this collection specifically? The tracks range from electro, progressive, trance and house. it reflects the different moods of dance music. Do you have an established/ publised discography already? Do you have an album/ single out in the market? Aside from the 2 remixes, there's also my remix for Nancy Jane (under warner records), the song is called 'Control' and it's a bonus cut in her album. There's also a bootleg remix of Zsa Zsa Padilla's 'Point of No Return' floating around somewhere in the net. Re the mix that you did for Hale and Dub, was it part of the nokia effort? If so, I'm afraid we cannot promote it as such. Check out the other MOTO Mashup sites!
