About Me: Genre: Pop-punk Members Instrument/s Gino Vergel de Dios - Bass/vocals Ton Vergel de Dios - Guitar/ Lead vocals Aldo Vergel de Dios - Drums/ Vocals Band Description: Hansom is a three piece band of brothers made up of Gino Vergel de Dios (bass), Ton Vergel de Dios (Guitar/vocals) and Aldo Vergel de Dios (Drums). The band is based in Quezon City from the Katipunan side of town. Hansom is noted for its punk rock energy, witty lyrics, musical variety and their on-stage theatrics. Officially they have been a band since March 2004. The band was formed when the two elder brothers, Gino and Ton, had previous unsuccessful stints with different band mates and decided to train Aldo as a drummer instead of finding a new one. They claim that their biggest strength is their uncanny chemistry that only brothers can have. To date, their accomplishments as a band include a 6 track independent EP entitled “Hump Ahead”, a music video to one of the song “Kaawaawang Pangarap also found on that EP and numerous battle of the band awards. Their influences include: System of a Down, Blink 182, Juan dela Cruz, The Ataris, Rancid and Apollo Creed.
